Industrial fitting and maintenance is the core of what we do. Long-running site work for Southland’s dairy manufacturing and aluminium smelting plants, plus meat processing, sawmills, MDF and road transport. Scheduled shutdowns, planned maintenance, on-site fitting, and the urgent calls when something stops.

We bring a mobile workshop and our own generator to remote sites. The same crew handles routine maintenance and urgent breakdowns, so you get continuity rather than a different team every visit.

Mobile engineering for the rural sector. We install and repair in-shed feeding systems, fix farm welding jobs on site, and design and repair tractor accessories. Our mobile engineering truck has its own generator, so we can work wherever there’s a paddock to drive into.

Downtime is expensive. Our goal is to get you back up and running as quickly as possible.

The jobs that keep us busy between the bigger contracts. Trailer manufacture, custom engineering solutions, repairs, modifications and the one-off bits that need someone to actually think about them. Most of it is mild steel, but we work in stainless and alloy too.

Taylor Engineering owns TurnTru Machining, a dedicated machining shop covering driveshaft repairs, custom parts and new driveshaft builds. Bring jobs to either workshop and we’ll route them through the right team.

We service and repair a lot of jet boats. Impeller balancing, jet unit rebuilds, cutless bearings, mechanical seals, performance re-pitching, plus custom modifications and one-off fab work.
